Operations

Modern operations performed using minimally invasive surgical techniques: less pain, shorter recovery time and a high quality of life.

  • Laparoscopic Surgery for Bowel Cancer

Laparoscopic surgery for colon cancer treats the tumour through small surgical incisions. The decision to operate is made after assessing the patient's general condition, cancer stage and extent of spread.

  • Laparoscopic Surgery for Rectal Cancer

Laparoscopic surgery is used to treat early and intermediate-stage rectal cancer without distant metastases. The operation uses a camera and surgical instruments inserted through small abdominal incisions; the aim is to remove the tumour in accordance with oncological principles and preserve bowel function as far as possible.

  • TAMIS: Transanal Minimally Invasive Surgery

TAMIS is a minimally invasive surgical technique used to remove early-stage localised rectal tumours and polyps through the anus. The operation uses a special port, camera and endoscopic instruments without an abdominal incision.

  • Laparoscopic Surgery for Stomach Cancer

Laparoscopic surgery for stomach cancer removes the tumour using a camera and surgical instruments inserted through small abdominal incisions. Part or all of the stomach and the lymph nodes are removed, and digestive tract continuity is restored. Suitability for this approach depends on the tumour stage, location and the patient's general condition.

  • Minimally Invasive Surgery for Oesophageal Cancer

Minimally invasive oesophagectomy is used in the surgical treatment of oesophageal cancer. The operation combines a thoracoscopic approach in the chest and a laparoscopic approach in the abdomen, using a camera and special instruments inserted through small incisions.

  • Laparoscopic Hernia Surgery

Laparoscopic hernia surgery treats inguinal, umbilical and postoperative hernias through small incisions. A camera and surgical instruments are used to repair the hernia site and reinforce it with a mesh implant.

  • Laparoscopic Gallbladder Surgery

Laparoscopic cholecystectomy removes the gallbladder using a camera and instruments inserted through small incisions. This operation is used to treat gallstones, inflammation and functional gallbladder disorders.

  • Adrenal Gland Surgery

Laparoscopic adrenalectomy, removal of the gland through small incisions, is used in the surgical treatment of benign and malignant adrenal tumours. The operation aims to remove abnormal tissue, normalise hormone secretion and maintain endocrine stability.

  • Surgery for Peritoneal Carcinomatosis (HIPEC, PIPAC)

In peritoneal carcinomatosis, cancer cells spread into the abdominal cavity, and HIPEC and PIPAC are used in treatment. HIPEC delivers heated chemotherapy fluid into the abdominal cavity after cancer deposits have been removed, while PIPAC administers the drug laparoscopically as an aerosol. Treatment is planned individually for each patient.
