On May 14, 2026, a live webinar titled "Transanal Endoscopic Microsurgery" was held by the Turkish Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery (TKRCD). The webinar covered which patients are candidates for transanal surgery and when it is indicated, equipment and patient preparation for surgery, TAMIS and robotic techniques, as well as ways to address difficulties encountered during surgery.
We gave a video presentation on TAMIS (transanal minimally invasive surgery) at the webinar. The webinar was moderated by Dr. Sezai Demirbaş and Dr. Cihangir Akyol. Speakers also included Dr. Cihangir Akyol, Dr. Salim İlksen Başçeken, Dr. A. Emre Canda, Dr. Emre Balık and Dr. M. Ali Koç.
